Becoming a parent changes a person in a monumental way. Your priorities change and your focus becomes loving, supporting and protecting that tiny person you just brought into the world.
As time goes on, you learn what works for you and your family. You develop a kind of parenting philosophy that comes with a toolkit. In that toolkit are tools you use to keep your baby happy and healthy.
If you’re feeling burnt out, exhausted and overwhelmed you’re not alone! Parent or caregiver burnout is a real thing that many parents experience, but it’s not always talked about or addressed properly.
However, the line between burnout and postpartum depression can be gray, so if you are experiencing these symptoms, check in with your primary care provider.
